Jira Alert and Updates is a free Chrome add-on developed by mdimraankhan that keeps you informed about any status or comment updates on your Jira tasks. This handy tool sends notifications directly to your Chrome browser, making it easy to stay updated on your Jira projects.
With JiraAlert, you can track multiple Jira tasks by simply copying and pasting their links into the app. The add-on notifies you through Chrome notifications and updates the badgeText, which appears as a small text beneath the extension icon in the omnibar. Additionally, the badgeText also appears beside the JiraID when you open the app.
Using Jira Alert and Updates is straightforward. Simply paste the Jira link into the text box to receive notifications for any comment or status updates. You can also click the Refresh button to check for updates on your added list of Jiras. If you no longer want to track a Jira, simply click the "X" button to remove it from the tracking list.
Please note that there may be a delay of up to 5 minutes in receiving notifications.
